Harry flopped down at his desk and breathed a sigh. He was thoroughly relieved that he wasn’t downstairs with his so-called family while Dudley bullied Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia into buying him a new toy.   
“Fifteen years old and still playing with fire trucks. If only his friends knew,” Harry thought shaking his head.   
He almost felt sorry for his Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia for having to fork out so much money for their ungrateful son and still pay bills and feed the household. The key word was ‘almost’.

Hearts of Fire: P1: Chapter 3The next morning, the trio arrived in the Great Hall for breakfast and their schedules. As soon as Harry sat down, he immediately began stacking his plate with fried sausages, eggs, and bacon. He then filled a bowl with porridge. Ron and Hermione watched Harry with raised eyebrows as he grabbed five pieces of toast. He then, unintentionally, snatched up the strawberry jam just as Neville reached for it.  
 
“Oh! Sorry about that, Neville. Here, you can use it first,” Harry said handing the jam to Neville.

Hermione practically jumped out of nowhere. Her expression was of genuine concerned.   
“I was-,” Harry stopped himself. He decided not to mention his discussion with Draco, he didn’t want to answer a bunch of questions at the moment. He decided to talk about something else, “Sirius asked me to see him in his room. He wants to talk to me about something.”

Hearts of Fire: P1: Ch 2 Pt 1The carriages sped along down the dirt road that led to Hogwarts. Before Harry had thought the carriages were driven by magic, but now he knew they were actually driven by something else. They were, in fact drawn by a strange type of Winged Horse. They were skeletal in appearance with protruding bones and a dragonish face and were solid black. At least, that’s what Harry thought was drawing the carriages.  
 
The problem was no else saw them, not Ron, not Hermione, not Ginny, no one. The only one who also claimed to see these frightening creatures was a very eccentric fourth year Ravenclaw named Luna Lovegood who they met on th Hearts of Fire: P1: Ch 2 Pt 1

I'm going to start writing again now! Yay! :clap: Now that the semester's over I'll have plenty of time to write. Hopefully, I'll finish chapter 5 and post it soon.

Don't forget: I have a poll about the first class of Hagrid's that I'll be writing about. So, if you haven't voted yet, please do so.

The poll will end once I get to that part of my fanfic. So far, the Phoenix is winning.


I want to write a House fanfic. It'll probably be ongoing. I already have 3 chapters in my head: (1)Protection, (2)Possession, and (3)Revelation. The 3 chapters' stories are completely planned out in my head; including a very short story about Hanukkah; and I really want to get them out. The fic, naturally, will be about Hilson(House/Wilson).
So, what do you guys think? Would you be interested in reading it? Also, I need more ideas for chapters. I'm hoping to use the same pattern as the 1st 3 (Protection, Possession, Revelation). You know, nouns that end in -ion. You don't even have to give me a storyline; just the word and I'll try to make a chapter.

For those of you who are feeling worried, you can relax. I have NO intention AT ALL about stopping my Harry Potter fic. I will by NO means stop writing Hearts of Fire until it's completed. I simply want to write the House one in addition to the Harry Potter one. So, what do you think?
